PLAYA SOCOS, TONGOY

Hi class mates, since i was very little  it was a big family activity going to the beach.
With my father, uncle and cousins uset to go to Pichilemu for like a week or two, doesn't
matter what season it was. But the bitch that i used to visit more frequently is Tongoy,
my mather, my sister and i arrive there almost every summer.
Tongoy is a peninsula in coquimbo region, it haves two beaches, one each side. The Soccos
beach is my favorite, it is like 3 kilometers long, at one side it haves tongoy and in the
other one it haves Puerto velero. At the back of the beach there are like 1300 mts of
dunes, then a road and behind that a little villa called “Villa el Tangue”. There is it the
house that we stay when we go to Tongoy.
Wen we want to go to the beach we always make it walking till arrive in the middle,
where there is no one.
So, yo cross the road, and then the fence, then follow a paw print beatwin little desert
ferns and cactus, till you came across a car print, then you follow the car print till it
disappears in the sands and you arrive to the dunes. beatwin that two zones you can
see different kind of ferns, cactus, flowers, birds, lizards, and one time we see a fox.
After the dune part you can see the sea the sea, before that you only hear it.
When you arrive to the sea usually you are sweaty, soy we instal ouer things and then a
fast splash.  The weather is clear, you can see your fet and the waves in the bottom sand,
if you go further you slowly start to get deeper till one point where you came across a
sand bank, if you go further you will get your hips above the surface, at that point you
are like 30 mts far of the beach edge.

I think the walk and the splash are the memorable part, after that we use to play in the
water with my sister and a pair of body tables, or take sun in the sand or eat  looking to
the see.
